Transversality Counselling & Psychotherapy

Transversality Counselling was born from the shared vision of two Latinx clinicians, Carolina and Hollman, who believe that therapy must honour the crossings of life transitions, loss, language, gender, and resistance. We ground our work in relational, feminist, anti-oppressive and decolonial lenses, and are committed to providing a safe and inclusive space for all individuals seeking support.
Meet the Team
At Transversality Counselling, we are committed to providing inclusive, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive therapy. Our practice is rooted in anti-oppressive principles, honoring the complexity of individual experiences and identities. We offer services in both English and Spanish, ensuring accessibility for diverse communities.
Reaching Out Isn’t Easy...
We know how hard it is to take that first step and reach out for support. It can feel scary, vulnerable, or even like admitting defeat —
Asking for help doesn’t mean something is “wrong” with you. It means you’ve been carrying so much on your own, and you’re ready to share the load. That takes courage.
Therapy isn’t about having all the answers before you start. It’s about showing up, even with uncertainty, and letting yourself be supported.
You don’t have to go through this alone.
At Transversality Counselling, we offer trauma-informed, decolonial, and relational support for individuals and couples navigating life’s complexities. Rooted in lived experience, we welcome you — just as you are —

We respectfully acknowledge that Transversality Counselling is located on the unceded, ancestral, and traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
As Latinx therapists whose histories have been shaped by colonization, displacement, and resistance, we recognize our responsibility to engage in ongoing reflection, accountability, and solidarity with Indigenous peoples. Our commitment to decolonial practice means listening deeply, challenging systems of oppression, and holding space for multiple ways of knowing, healing, and being.
We are grateful to live and work on these lands, and we honour the resilience and sovereignty of the First Peoples who have cared for them since time immemorial.
